David Rebuck’s career is marked by his significant contributions to the legalization and regulation of internet gaming and sports betting in New Jersey. Appointed in April 2011, Rebuck led New Jersey’s regulatory response to some of the most critical developments in gaming history, including the launch of internet gaming in 2013 and the landmark Supreme Court decision in 2018, which struck down the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA). Under his guidance, New Jersey became a national leader in online gaming and sports wagering.
